Rema Tip Top Industry UK, based in Harworth: Our Maintenance Service went to clean up the pavements as they were affected by the weather so weeds and moss had started to build. Andy weeded the car park to make the business premises presentable.

Dean Lax: “Andy has been and done an excellent job today…

He managed to completed everything we discussed the other day.

Thanks for your assistance with this matter

Andy’s work is much appreciated”

The Crossing Church in Worksop: The service required lifting of loose slabs to re-bed and re-point between the slabs. In addition it required the covering of an old damaged ground light with a new slab making the area safer.. This was a big job, with several visits, as it was a large area and work was restricting access to The Crossing Church Cafe.

Clara Taylor: “I just wanted to reiterate the MASSIVE thank for you allowing the Very Handy Andy to work on our building front. Seriously guys what a credit to the North Notts Bid he is – as a charity you can imagine how carefully we have to balance essential repairs against our ever tightening budgets and unfortunately those little bits that make all the difference get pushed to the next month. To know that our paved area is now lovely and safe (and so much smarter looking) for visitors no matter what the Great British weather has to throw at Worksop this winter is absolutely brilliant. The fact that we’ve not had to pull on our own funds to complete this work means that we’ve been able to give up more rooms that are available free of charge and heavily discounted to groups that have been affected by the recent floods – so a big thanks to the BID for allowing us to help get Worksop back to normal.

As a chap he a proper local gent – our volunteers found him so polite and considerate and he goes out of his way to work around our own requirements, even when these did mean he had to make a return journey so that we could keep our disabled access open.”
