The North Notts Food Fest line-up for 2024…
Chris Bavin – This year’s celebrity headline chef is Chris Bavin, who will be presenting two demonstrations on the day, showcasing how to get the best meals from cost-effective seasonal ingredients. He recently hosted the second series of Channel 4’s ‘Aldi’s Next Big Thing’ and ‘Eat Well for Less’. He also regularly contributes to The One Show and showcases his horticulture expertise during the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Billy Frost – The head chef at The Mucky Duck – Drakeholes, Billy Frost, is performing two dish demos. These include a chicken dish and the plate of pork from the 2 rosette A La Carte menu at The Mucky Duck, a real delicacy treat! Discover what fabulous food this BID member restaurant has to offer.
Teresa Bovey – Returning for this year is festival favourite Teresa Bovey, home economist, who will be performing a time & cost effective meal demo using an air-fryer and microwave. She will be showcasing quick summer meal ideas and ways of using up leftovers and store cupboard ingredients, giving you plenty of inspiration for the upcoming warmer months!
Emily Leary – Emily is known for being a multi-award-winning food writer, presenter, chef and author of bestselling book, “Get Your Kids to Eat Anything: The 5-phase programme to change the way your family thinks about food”. She is also Marketing Manager at The School of Artisan Food. She will be performing two demos of savoury muffins, a recipe which will get your kids to eat a variety of veggies and other healthy ingredients.
Arya Madhavan – The Indian Curry Pot head chef, Arya, will be showcasing her ‘Indian Curry Pot’ spice mixes, demonstrating how to make the most delicious curry! This recipe is definitely one you will want to try at home. Attendees will be able to try it out on the day.
