Join us at Worksop Old Market Square for the Christmas Lights switch on event on Saturday 25th November, 2023!
This FREE to attend family event is the perfect way to start the festive activities, taking place from 12:00pm until 6:30pm.
What to expect on the day:
– Visit Santa in the courtyard of the Lion Hotel
– Watch some fascinating street entertainment, including stilt performers
– Enjoy free bauble decorating by the Charter Trustee’s children’s Christmas tree
– Do some of your Christmas shopping from the range of stalls from 12pm
– Eat some delicious food from vendors & local eateries
– Take part in a free lantern making workshop, followed by a short parade with the lanterns up to the main stage
– Watch live entertainment on the main stage, including the fabulous Eltonesque
– Gaze up at the fireworks & enjoy the lights being turned on at 6pm
