What Next made a spectacular return for 2024, taking place at Retford Oaks Academy on Thursday 17th October.
North Notts BID fully funded the event, which was organised in partnership with Bassetlaw District Council. What Next is a careers event which offers pupils from all our secondary schools and colleges across the Bassetlaw district the chance to communicate with professionals about potential future job and career opportunities. Exhibitors included Clumber Park NT, North Notts College, Trans-Sport TV, North Notts Training Group, The Royal Navy plus many more!
North Notts BID promoted the Walksafe personal safety app on the day, highlighting safety to students when they are on their travels to and from school and at evenings and weekends. The app’s safety features are also hugely beneficial as they embark on their next journey either at university or in employment. Students from visiting schools were able to come and speak to us freely about the app and how it’s features could be tailored to their lifestyle, also receiving some wonderful branded freebies.
