Join us on Friday 15th August to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VJ Day. North Notts BID will be holding a commemorative event in Worksop to pay tribute to all those who served in the Far East and the Pacific.
To celebrate the amazing achievements of our local veterans, we are holding this commemorative event which is open to the public from 1:30pm – 3:00pm at Worksop Market Square. Enjoy live performances from Jessica Mary Brett and read real-life experiences of veterans from the war displayed through storyboards placed around the square.
Jessica Mary Brett will be performing from 1:45pm – 2:15pm and again at 2:30pm – 3:00pm.
