Fancy yourself or your little ones as bakers? Then put your skills to the test in either of our competitions.
Take part in either of our competitions taking place at the North Notts Food Festival – Thursday 25th July 2019.
The ‘Great North Notts Baker’ Competition:
Enter a celebration cake/cupcakes based on the theme of ‘Summertime Specials’.
This can be through taste or decoration for example holidays, the beach, ice-cream, flowers in full bloom, anything that reminds you of summer.
The competition will be split into two classes, each will have its own winner.
Class one is for competitors under 12yrs of age and class two is for those aged 12yrs and above.
May the best baker win.
‘Children’s Fruit and Vegetable Animal’ Competition:
Open to children under 12yrs to create any type of animal purely from fruit and vegetables.
You may use cocktail sticks, glue or tape to join pieces together.

All entries to be delivered to the Competition Stall on the Market Place between 10am and 11am on the day.
Cakes will be judged based on appearance and taste by independent judges before being put on display on a stall within the outdoor food market.
The ‘Great North Notts Baker’ is split into two classes – cakes made and decorated by under 12 year olds and 12yrs and over. No entries accepted by professional cake makers.
Winners to be announced on the day and contacted for a photo and presentation of prize at Lunch Time at the Competition Stall. All entries to be collected by 5pm on the day otherwise they will be disposed of.
All entries to be accompanied by a sheet of paper stating entrants name, age and contact details.
