The Retford Christmas Market and Lights Switch On event took place on Sunday 23rd November 2025, and a great day was had by all who attended!
This wonderful event took place at Retford Market Square from 10am – 6pm. The day consisted of fabulous stall holders, food & drink vendors, street entertainment, main stage performances, freebies and much more! Local dance groups and singers performed on stage throughout the day, with an appearance from STEP Fusion’s Robo Dogs! The indoor craft market allowed visitors to start their Christmas shopping early, purchasing some beautifully handmade items. Kids could visit Santa in his grotto and enter for the chance to be Santa’s little helper and help him turn on the lights. The Christmas lights were switched on at 5pm, followed by a wonderful performance from ‘Abba Fever’.
