Exciting news! The North Notts Mural Trail is officially LIVE. We invite you to explore 30 vibrant, eco-themed murals created by local schools and community groups across Bassetlaw, including Worksop, Retford, Tuxford, and Harworth & Bircotes. The trail is running from Monday 25th May – Sunday 6th September.
Explore the Trail
The murals are located across multiple towns in Bassetlaw. Each piece showcases creativity, sustainability, and community spirit. A full map of mural locations is available below, along with details of each artwork, including its title and the group responsible for its creation. Visitors are encouraged to plan their own route and enjoy the trail at their own pace.
Trail Challenge
As you explore, take on the ‘Trail Challenge’: each mural features a hidden item on the back. Find the item and match it to the correct number in your pocket guide and complete all 30 to finish the trail. Upon completion, take a photo of the completed Trail Challenge page and email it to info@northnottsbid.co.uk to receive a certificate and be entered into a prize draw to win a fabulous hamper of prizes from local businesses!
Digital Participation
The Trail Challenge can also be completed digitally by scanning the QR code located on the reverse of each mural or within the pocket guide. To take part online, participants can access the submission form – CLICK HERE. Please note: if you are completing the trail via Google Forms, your answers will be stored for up to 30 days prior to submission. If you intend to complete the trail over a longer period, you are advised to record your answers separately (for example, in your pocket guide or on a mobile device) to avoid losing progress.
Enjoy the Murals
The murals can also be enjoyed without taking part in the Trail Challenge. Visitors are welcome to explore the artworks at leisure and appreciate the recycled and eco-conscious themes throughout the trail.
