On the 21st of May Dinosaur Discovery will be making its debut in the Worksop Market Square.
With this event expecting to bring thousands into Worksop throughout the day, we have created a guide to make the most out of this opportunity. These events are a prime opportunity to boost your sales and brand awareness.
What can you do to benefit your business?
1) Putting on an exclusive offer for the day surrounding the theme of the event.
Example: Butchers – Dino Burgers offer, buy 2 get 1 free.
General stores: Order in Dinosaur sweets/balloons for sale on the day.
2) Have clear signage outside. For example, a chalk board outside with some event information and some of your services advertised. If you’re wanting to go one step further why not get a couple of helium dinosaur balloons to put outside your shopfront?

3) Advertise that you’re open for the event. We will then share this information throughout our channels.
Example: Dinosaur Photo Post with the caption “This Saturday is the Dinosaur Discovery Event in Worksop. We will be open as normal 9am until 3pm. We will have Dino Burgers on offer while stocks last?”.
4) Distributing leaflets in the street could potentially attract customers both on the day and in the future. Make sure to include your social media links and a potentially QR code to your website.
Example: Show this leaflet to the bar for 10% off food between 2-3pm.
