The Station Hotel is a luxurious 4-star accommodation located in the heart of Worksop, just opposite the train station. The hotel and restaurant were taken over in 2008 by Karen & Andrew Woods, who also own The Shireoaks Inn. The hotel has been standing for over 100 years, with a complete refurbishment of the pub, restaurant and hotel rooms taking place under the most recent ownership. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Worksop via train, or anyone who may be stopping in Worksop on their travels.
The restaurant, named Platform 3, has gone from strength to strength due to the amazing team that work there and its incredible food offering. The restaurant offers a vast range of delicious, home-cooked pub classics, including fish & chips, pies, Sunday dinners and much more! They also hold regular themed nights in the restaurant, including Indian & Mexican Nights. Tapas Saturdays is an incredibly popular night and is one you don’t want to miss, with 3 tapas dishes, 3 cocktails and 3 glasses of prosecco available for just £30pp! They also have an extensive specials board with daily changes, including season dishes.
As well as popular themed cuisine nights, they also hold a range of events. A popular weekly event includes bingo nights on a Friday. Coming up this festive season is a Christmas Disco on the 7th December, which is open to all and you are encouraged to come in fancy dress! Bring in the new year in style at their New Year’s Eve party. Their fabulous Christmas Menu will also be available to enjoy very soon! The restaurant area is available to rent out for private functions, including birthday parties, christenings, funeral teas and small intimate wedding receptions. In the summer months, the outdoor beer garden is the perfect place to relax with a beer or cocktail in hand whilst enjoying the sports on the TV under the pergola area. This will be re-opening in April 2025.
The hotel offers a total of 17 rooms, including 3 brand new bedrooms which are soon to open in the courtyard area. These have been built in the old out-buildings, which have been transformed into 3 spacious King-sized bedrooms, with a modern & bright aesthetic to them.
