Styrrup Hall Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole golf course nestled in the small village of Styrrup. The Golf and Country Club is set within 150 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Since opening in 2000, the family orientated business has gone from strength to strength; with recent renovations from new ownership in 2021 creating a truly beautiful space.
The club has a 14-bay driving range that is flood lit and available to use by members and non-members between 8:30am-8pm Mon/Tue/Sat/Sun and 8:30am-10pm Wed/Thur/Fri. This is priced at £3.50 per 48 balls. The range is great for golfers of all levels wanting to improve their technique and for friends to meet up, enjoying some delicious food while getting the practice in.
There is a special Member’s Lounge for those with memberships, allowing them access to a gorgeous private restaurant and bar area upstairs, which leads out onto a balcony which is a sun trap in the summer. There are TV’s showing live sports, a pool table, dart boards and sports memorabilia. This exclusive area is the perfect place to relax after a round of golf. Are you looking to improve your golf skills? Lessons are available from resident Golf Professional, Craig Fricker. Lessons are available for both men, women and juniors. Whilst the club is at full capacity for 5/7-day memberships, you are encouraged to register your interest to be notified when spaces become available. There are spaces for junior memberships, priced at £195 for 16-18 year olds, £99 for 12-16 year olds and £59 for under 12’s.
Fuel yourself up at the stunning restaurant at the club, Seventy-One, which is available to all – members, casual players and the general public. The stylish restaurant serves a range of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes. Visiting in the week? Enjoy 2 mains for £20 from Wednesday through to Friday, 12pm – 4pm. You can also enjoy a delicious Sunday Roast, available from 12pm – 5pm. The brand-new pizza menu is also one you don’t want to miss! The bi-fold doors open onto a picturesque terrace area, with plenty of seating for those summer nights.
The hall features a large function room which is available to hire out for weddings, birthdays, christenings, and funerals. The room has a fully serviced bar and has the capacity to seat up to 120 people. The room leads into a beautiful bridal garden with a veranda overlooking the water and golf course, perfect for photo opportunities. The buggies can also be used to transport the bride and groom into the forest for more stunning images.
