Smartpod offers modular based space solutions, designing and creating ‘Smartpods’ for use across education, retail, leisure and business. Smartpod offer a full service, from site survey through to project delivery. Smartpod installations are carried out by the same highly skilled team who build them. Smartpods are extremely versatile and can be tailored to customer requirements size, internal and external finishes. Smartpods can also be installed on both soft and hard surfaces. An environmentally friendly ground screw solution is used on soft ground, with no requirement for a concrete base. Smartpods USP is one space…endless uses.
Smartpods are extremely popular within the education sector, where they are used as learning spaces such as classroom, library, breakout and sensory pods. Recent projects have included a 12x5m Sensory pod including kitchen island, storage, DDA toilet and sensory equipment. Smartpods are also commonly used as office and gym spaces, for business and personal use. Another local project included the design and installation of two Retreat pods which served as accommodation space for staff staying overnight at their place of work. More recently, Smartpod was commissioned by Bassetlaw District Council to design and install a Changing Places pod and a Catering pod at Langold Country Park, Worksop.
Smartpod has also delivered an exciting new project a ‘Welcome Centre pod’ for a sixth-form college. This is going to be used as a calming and welcoming space for students upon entry of the college. Another exciting project in the works is the rollout of their brand new Smartpark solution, targeted at business and shopping parks across the UK. They have also offered worldwide solutions, providing Smartpods for businesses including ‘Coffee Planet’, where their Coffee pod has featured at the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix.
