The company was originally founded in Worksop in 1955, later moving to Retford. This year they are celebrating trading for 70 years. This year, for 2025, they are celebrating their 70th anniversary. To celebrate such a large achievement, they are holding an event on Saturday 16th August inside and outside of the shop. This event will be taking place throughout the day. There are some fabulous prizes to be won on the ‘Spin the Wheel’ game, including Sony headphones, a Bosch vacuum, a Roberts radio, a TV and vouchers/prizes from other local businesses which have been donated. For a go on the wheel, it costs £3, with all donations going to Bassetlaw Hospice. There will also be live music, face painting, games and much more!
