Eyres Furniture has stood proud at the top of Worksop for over 100 years, inside the large store is a hidden gem of a coffee shop, called Miss Poppy’s.
The coffee shop recently received new ownership and a fabulous renovation with its re-opening on the 4th July, transforming the café into a modernised version of itself.
The launch of a brand new menu consisting of homemade bakes and cakes, hearty meals, delicious sandwiches and sweet treats is now available. Breakfasts are served until 11:30, with the star of the show being the ultimate breakfast burger, consisting off layers of sausage patties, cheese, bacon and hash browns – this is one you definitely need to try. There is also a range of cold and hot drinks available, including speciality teas, hot chocolate, and of course coffee. Miss Poppy’s aims to create a warming and homely atmosphere, with produce being locally sourced and coffee roasted just over in Claycross.
Afternoon Teas will be available from 1st August, requiring 24 hours notice of bookings to make sure they are fresh and perfected for guests.
Miss Poppy’s currently opens 09:00–15:00 Tuesday- Saturday.
