Amor Cocktail Bar is a vibrant and stylish addition to Worksop’s hospitality scene, having opened its doors in summer 2025. Located on Bridge Street in the heart of the town centre, this independently run venue has quickly established itself as a popular destination for both daytime and evening visitors, offering a high-quality experience in a beautifully designed setting.
Since opening, Amor has built a strong reputation for its elevated interior, combining contemporary and on-trend décor to create a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. Open Thursday to Sunday evenings, Amor serves an extensive selection of cocktails and alcoholic beverages, expertly prepared by a talented team of mixologists. Their attention to detail and passion for their craft ensures that every drink is carefully curated, contributing to an overall premium customer experience. The bar has also become well known for its lively programme of events, regularly hosting themed nights and live entertainment, including singers and saxophonists, which help to create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. Recent events, such as their American-themed “Hoedown Showdown”, have proven particularly popular with the local community. They will be hosting a themed event monthly going forwards.
In addition to its evening offering, Amor has recently expanded its opening hours to include daytime service from 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday – Saturday. Visitors can now enjoy a range of high-quality coffees, supplied by 200 Degrees Coffee, alongside a selection of hot and cold drinks, including matcha. Their cake fridge features an appealing variety of sweet treats, including cakes, mousses, brownies and blondies, while their freshly prepared açaí bowls have quickly become a customer favourite.
The venue also benefits from an outdoor seating area, providing an ideal space for customers to enjoy drinks during the warmer months. Amor is available for private hire, making it a popular choice for celebrations and special occasions.
Amor Cocktail Bar is proud to be part of the local business community and is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors. The venue is an accredited member of the North Notts Best Bar None scheme for 2025/26, having successfully passed their assessment, and will be attending the upcoming awards ceremony in April alongside other venues from across Bassetlaw. In addition, Amor is registered as a Safe Space on the WalkSafe app and actively promotes initiatives such as Ask for Angela, reinforcing its commitment to customer welfare.
