Sally Gillborn MBE

Chief Executive

Sally introduced and developed North Notts BID – from the initial idea – right through to its inception on 1st September 2017.

Sally has overall responsibility for the BID team and BID Board and oversees the strategic direction of the BID. She ensures that the BID business plan is delivered effectively and efficiently on time and within budget.

Sally was awarded an MBE in the Kings New Years Honours List 2023 for Services to Business and to the Economy in Nottinghamshire.

Steve Corderoy-Foster

Operations & Projects Manager

Steve has been with the BID since the very beginning. His role is to manage the BIDs finances, run the day-to-day operations of the business, and oversee the delivery of projects, activities, and events.

Steve is also responsible for the line management of the Project Coordinator, 2 x Business Liaison Officers and the Admin Assistant roles.

Joe Sentance

Business Engagement Lead

Having initially being employed as a BID Ambassador, Joe has progressed to the role of Business Engagement Lead.

Joe’s role is split between engaging with our BID members and taking the lead on business crime reduction activities and related projects.

Joe also hosts our Party in the Square, Christmas Light switch-on events, and North Notts Business Awards. He is Vice Chair of the North Notts Business Crime Reduction Partnership (NNBCRP).

Elinor Softley

Business Liaison Officer

Elinor joined the BID team in July 2023, taking up one of two part-time Business Liaison Officer roles that work alongside the Business Engagement Lead to offer a customer friendly service to our BID members.

The main purpose of these roles is to ensure that our BID members are fully aware of the benefits that they can access to ensure that they get good value from their levy.

Robyn Wilson

Business Liaison Officer

Robyn joined the team in September 2023 as our second part-time Business Liaison Officer.

Robyn and Elinor liaise with our BID members daily by either calling in, by pre-arranged meetings or by phone and email.

Both also support projects including NNBCRP, ShopWatch, PubWatch and Best Bar None.

Alice Exley

Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

Alice manages all the BIDs social media platforms, ensuring that we effectively promote our projects, events, and activities.

She also acts as a mini-social media marketing service for our BID members by offering Member Spotlights and proactively promoting their services through all social media channels.

Clayton Tindle

Project Coordinator

Clayton supports the Operations & Project Manager with the coordination and delivery of the BIDs projects as outlined in the business plan, and as defined by the BIDs Chief Executive and the BID Strategic Board.

Clayton role is to also to introduce new ideas, search for additional funding streams and monitor the effectiveness of BID projects.

Jackie Ainsworth

Administration Assistant

As the Admin Assistant, Jackie is the lynchpin to the BID team as she looks after all of our administrative needs, keeping us on track.

Jackie manages the Maintenance Support Operative’s daily schedule, CRM data input, orders stationery supplies, supports at events and workshops, and offers any other administrative support as required by the BID team.

Andy Tomlinson

Maintenance Operative

Affectionately dubbed ‘Handy Andy’ by our BID members, Andy offers a free maintenance support service to our BID members that helps with small external jobs such as weeding, strimming, painting, jet washing and gutter clearing.

This support has an immediate impact and a tangible value to our BID members, ensuring they recoup the cost of their annual levy and much more.
