North Notts BID is delighted to announce that the first of our specialist business seminars which is part of our Business Support service, will take place on Tuesday 26 June 2018.
The event will focus on the very topical subject of Cyber Fraud and will take place between 9am-12noon.
Attendance is free for BID members and there will be a nominal charge of £10+VAT per person for non-BID members. The exact venue will be confirmed once your place/s are reserved.
The workshop will be delivered by Rob Pugh a serving Police Officer who has been seconded onto the East Midlands Special Operations Unit for the last twelve years. Rob is currently part of the team that investigate cyber-dependant crime that affects businesses and individuals within the East Midlands Region.
The East Midlands Special Operations Unit, Cyber Crime Team is a regional unit that investigates cyber-attacks against industry and individuals, providing current threat information and supporting regional Policing in collaboration with National Crime Agency.

- Cyber threats
- Business email compromise
- Cyber Essentials and CiSP
- Basic steps for good cyber hygiene
