Join in with the Great British Spring Clean alongside your colleagues.

We are inviting you, the businesses and the community in North Notts to take pride in your local area by joining in on the country’s biggest mass action environmental campaign ever – The Great British Spring Clean (GBSC) that is taking place from the 22 March – 23 April 2019.

Not only does it show great corporate social responsibility by taking care of your surroundings, but studies show that being outside around nature can have amazing effects on your employees productivity.

Setting aside just an hour out of the normal working day at your company and getting the team together to take part in a litter pick surrounded by nature can be significantly beneficial for you and your employees. Research shows that heading outdoors even if it is just for 20 minutes, it will improve short-term memory and overall productivity, decreases stress levels, boosts positivity, enhances creative functions and sparks inspiration.

Read the full article on how being outdoors improves your physical and mental health here.

What the campaign organisers had to say : ‘By getting involved you’ll be showing you care about the environment on your doorstep, as well as making a positive impact by clearing litter pollution from your local streets and parks. So join in, as we prepare to stand together and declare that single-use plastic litter – which degrades the beauty of our environment and threatens to harm wildlife – it is not acceptable.’  Keep Britain Tidy
