Support Bassetlaw Hospice this Christmas by joining in on the Pilgrims 5k Fun Run on the Sunday 25th November 2018, which will be the start of the events leading up to Retford’s Christmas Lights Switch-On.
Crowds will gather at 9.15am for the judging of the best dressed Pilgrim and the run will start at 9.30am.
The run will not be timed so feel free to walk, skip or run your way to the finish line.

After the light switch-on, on the 30th November the Christmas celebrations continue over the Saturday 1st from 10am-5pm and Sunday the 2nd December from 10am-2pm.

Tuxford: Sunday 2nd December 2018 – 3pm – 6.30pm (Lights Switch on at 5.30pm)
Newcastle Street, Tuxford, Notts, NG22 OLT (Please note Newcastle Street will be closed for the Christmas Fair).
On the day there will be stalls to buy your Christmas gifts, entertainment for all to enjoy including a tombola/raffle if you are feeling lucky. To get you in the Christmas spirit will be Carol singers, mulled wine and delicious mince pies and of course, Santa will be coming along in his special sleigh accompanied by his helpers to switch on Tuxford’s Christmas lights.
NEW to North Notts this year will be late night shopping at the Stocking Filler Markets, taking place in both Retford and Worksop Town Centres.
Expect to be delighted with various new stalls selling the perfect Christmas presents alongside street entertainers, food stalls, small fairground rides, and a showing of ‘The Snowman’ on big TV screens.
Also an extra-special performances of Sleeping Beauty by Talegate Theatre will show on Tuesday 4 December in Retford and Thursday 13 December in Worksop.
