Kirsty Jackson – Cyber Protect and Prevent Officer for Nottinghamshire Police is currently working with ‘The Cyber Resilience Centre’ for the East Midlands which is a collaboration with policing, academia and private industry, which is being set up to build cyber resilience to prevent businesses becoming a victim of Cyber Crime.

We’ve got some great organisations on board who are supporting us and already offering their expert knowledge and experience to build cyber resilience for the business community in the East Midlands.

Any business can sign up for FREE core membership here: https://www.emcrc.co.uk/

We’re also offering a FREE new government-funded tool to help protect business from the increasing threat of cyber-attacks.

Police CyberAlarm acts as a ‘CCTV camera’ monitoring the traffic seen by an organisation’s connection to the internet. It will detect and provide regular reports of suspected malicious activity, enabling organisations to minimise their vulnerabilities and protect themselves.

Police CyberAlarm helps businesses and law enforcement get up-to-date knowledge of attack types and trends which is absolutely key to having a robust defence.

Businesses can sign up for a membership as part of the pilot which runs until the 31 March 2021 via the website, find out more here: https://cyberalarm.police.uk/
