BID Member Spotlight – Worksop Town FC 1861 Coffee Lounge

Nnn

Worksop Town FC proudly presents the newest addition in hospitality to the Windsor Food Service Stadium: The 1861 Coffee Lounge.

The 1861 Coffee Lounge boasts a brand new refurbished seating area in the Tigers’ signature grey, white and yellow, following work completed in October 2021. These changes have given the Lounge a sleek, modern feeling, with plenty of space and seating, and striking Tigers branding drawing the eye from every seat.

The Lounge is fully stocked with a range of coffees and teas, from lattes and flat whites to mochas and herbal teas, as well as a variety of homemade cakes, pastries and hot food, making it the perfect rest stop while shopping in the nearby Sandy Lane Industrial Estate – be that for a light snack and a chatter, or for a full lunch.

The warm and welcoming environment is ideal for socialising, but if time is pressing, takeaway service is also available.

As well as coffee and cake, the Lounge also continues to function as the matchday bar, with a remodeled and fully stocked selection of alcoholic beverages available during home games and from the afternoon onwards through the week.

The Coffee Lounge adds yet another dimension to the club’s hospitality service, with a large private function suite and conference room available for hire, with catering provided on site. The space is used to host many of the club’s interior events, such as the hugely successful Evening with Mark Crossley and the upcoming Evening with Paddy Kenny. The suite is also used for Coach Education sessions and inductions by Worksop Town Academy, and can accommodate up to 150 guests.

The 1861 Coffee Lounge is open 9am-11pm on weekdays, and 9am-5pm on weekends. For any enquiries, email tigers.den.wtfc@gmail.com.
