NNBCRP

North Notts Business Crime Reduction Partnership (NNBCRP) was formed in June 2019 and is a North Notts BID (Business Improvement District) led crime reduction partnership.

The objective of the partnership is to help to reduce crime and Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in Bassetlaw.

Governance

A NNBCRP Steering Group supports with the operations and decision-making aspects of the partnership. The steering group will also be instrumental in ensuring that the partnership achieves the BCPR National Standards Accreditation.

Aims & Objectives

The NNBCRP Steering Group will manage the activity of the Partnership and will work to follow the 4 key objectives:

• Seek
  Prosecuting and disrupting more crime against business
• Safeguard
  Increasing the protection for business against becoming a victim of crime
• Strengthen
  Reducing the impact of crime against business
• Stop
  Preventing individuals from being drawn into carrying out crime against business

Membership

Membership of the NNBCRP will be made up of local businesses and partners including the Police, Local Authority, Shop Watch and Pub Watch Schemes, Civic Societies, Business Forums – all working collaboratively to take forward the recommendations from the NNBCRP Steering Group and other initiatives to tackle business crime.

Membership and projects are funded by North Notts BID. External funding may also be sourced to support with relevant projects.

Membership will be reviewed, to include key representation from across the business community, law enforcement and other sectors. There will also be sub-groups that will drive tactical and operational delivery of this strategy – these will be focused on:

• Day-time economy
• Night-time economy

Please note:

• Businesses of all sizes and sectors are welcome to join as a member of the NNBCRP and attend meetings. There is no cost to join but a membership Data Integrity Agreement form must be completed.
• Only BID members and voluntary BID members are able to access the range of benefits available.
